Quality Processes

Fully documented quality control processes and procedures form an integral part of the Integrated Management System of Al-Rafiq Concrete Ready Mix. In particular, the Company is proud of its reputation for the most stringent testing programs deployed in the industry.

* Batching of concrete as per approved mix design. Weighing, mixing and discharging are done by fully computerized system.

* Calibration of plants is done at specified intervals.

* Checking of slump before dispatching to the sites and making sure the mix complies with specification.

* Taking cubes/cylinder daily from every mix and to test them for strength at specified age.

* Temperature control is done by using chilled water and/or ice cubes produced at our ice plant.

Independent Testing

In order to comply with the requirements of certain specifying authorities and to provide a comparative assessment of the Company's own testing accuracy, Al-Rafiq Concrete Ready Mix employs the services of independent testing agencies on a regular basis. Their findings and test results are made available to customers and consultants on request.
